You need to have mods enabled, and hit the key to open the console. You then type in the command you want -for example: 'giveitem magic mushroom' to give you what you want.

As you type, it will pop up a list of possible commands to assist you. If I wasn't on mobile, I'd link it, but there are some good console commands guides available on reddit if you search around. Also, be console no longer disables achievements, so be careful not to give yourself items you don't have yet, or beat bosses you haven't beaten yet with that character if you wanna unlock everything legit.
