About LYNX CampThe LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are summer immersion programs for high school students interested in music and the arts hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus and sponsored by the. We offer both residential and non-residential camp programs. The camps are designedto provide students with an educational preview of the college programs offered in the College of Arts & Media while also providing students with an inspiring and memorable summer camp experience.

We host high school students from throughoutthe country, and even international students, at the camp which enables a diverse and enriching experience as students bond over a shared passion for the arts.​ 2019 CAMP RECAPThe 2019 camps were a huge success! The College of Arts & Media hosted 285 high school students across eight camp programs. Campers traveled from 22 different states, and China, Mexico, Italy, and Indonesia! 99% of student attendees said that they would recommend the the camps to other high school students. Many of the students reported that attending the camp was a life-changing experience for them.

Filmmaking ProgramELIGIBILITYThe LYNX Camps are for high school students (ages 14-18) who are interested in the arts. Develop artistic skills! Students will have opportunities for hands-on artistic learning in a fun and safe learning environment. Learn from faculty and professionals with years of experience. Make friends and network! Students will be able to build a community of peers, mentors, staff, and college faculty members. Learn about career opportunities in the arts! Students will hear from various guest artists who have made careers out of their talents. Explore CU Denver and Colorado! Students will explore the CU Denver campus, the Denver art scene, and the Rocky Mountains through tours & field trips!

If you can answer yes to any of the questions below, you are considered a U.S. High school student for our registration purposes:. Are you a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, i.e., a Green Card holder?. Are youIf you currently hold an F-1 visa and I-20 at another U.S. School AND plan to continue your studies at that school, you won't need to obtain an additional F-1 visa to attend UCLA Summer Sessions. There are no unit requirements and you won't be required to complete the I-20 request form or upload any documents.NOTE: Precollege Summer Institutes are not F-1 visa eligible.Please be sure to consult your local US embassy/consulate for visa options prior to registering as an I-20 form may not be issued for these programs.

During the summer, many academic courses that make up UCLA's regular curriculum are offered in two sessions,. With over 100 courses to choose from, you can have an unforgettable summer here at UCLA.UCLA academic courses delivered carry the same unit value and UCLA degree credit. Whether you have other summer activities planned or you wish to stay in your hometown, online courses provide an alternative solution to your academic needs. While the majority of courses are 6-weeks long, a small number of courses in Session A last for 8-10 weeks.
