It seems that there are no differences between the.bin files from both the cracked and uncracked ipg files (in my case, I have looked at Pac-Man to see if there are any fundamental differences).
And comparing both folders of Pac-Man, there has been no modification whatsoever to the rest of the files contained.So to my knowledge, the people who have managed to crack the first 20 iPod Click Wheel Games must have modified the original firmware file (since there is a custom firmware for version 1.2.1) in order to allow certain iPod Games to be executed. Hence the reason why in my case that there is a message saying: 'This version of the game is no longer supported' for Sonic The Hedgehog. It might be worth trying to modify the firmware for version 1.3 to see if that will allow the rest of the iPod Games to be cracked. Of course, that will require a lot of time and effort, and some knowledge of how to tinker with the iPod firmware.I am curious about your thoughts though.

We could try and open the firmware file for version 1.3 in iPodWizard, and see if we can make any neccessary changes. Unfortunately my brain is lacking the necessary capacity to understand the works of a firmware, but you might be right, the key could be the v1.3.
